Cassie launched Wild Fern Vintage in Spring 2021 after completing a Women’s Small Business program. With her husband by her side, they began offering unique furniture rentals and event design services. Working as a wedding planner in Vermont, Cassie saw a need for local lounge area rentals and created Wild Fern Vintage to fill that gap.
Initially a passion project, the business quickly thrived, leading Cassie and her colleague turned bestie, Chelsea Howe to expand in 2022 by adding full wedding planning services. Welcome to Wild Fern Boutique!
Cassie’s dedication and thoughtfulness ensures a seamless and joyful wedding planning experience. With a focus on building a personal relationship with her clients, you're sure to feel at home with her!
Outside of work, she enjoys doting on her dog(children) - Oliver + Pepper, cooking, tending to her houseplants and flower gardens, traveling, paddleboarding, and relaxing with a glass of Pinot Noir and a good book.

Chelsea has always been captivated by the behind-the-scenes of events, unable to attend as a guest without analyzing how everything comes together. Her passion for event planning ignited in college when she served as an Orientation Coordinator, and after graduation, she honed her skills at The Mountain Top Resort. Over the course of 18 years, Chelsea managed the wedding department and played a key role in transforming the resort into a sought-after destination wedding venue. Chelsea is best known for mastering problem-solving while maintaining and sharing her calm energy.
After navigating the challenges of COVID together with Cassie, the two envisioned expanding Cassie's already thriving rental business. Drawing on their extensive experience, they created Wild Fern Boutique, turning their shared vision of a dual business into reality.
On her days off, Chelsea enjoys long walks in her Vermont neighborhood, catching up with friends, or spending time at the baseball field with her family.
